The practice of Mindfulness decreases our tendency to worry about things that have not yet happened and improves our control over those thoughts that are distressing to us.

Anxiety presents itself in combination of different physical and mental manifestations that are not attributable to real dangers, manifested in the form of crises or as a persistent state, being able to panic, it is related to the anticipation of future, indefinable and unpredictable dangers.

The most striking characteristic of anxiety is its anticipatory nature, that is, it has the ability to foresee or signal the danger or threat to the person who gives it an important functional value.

Mindfulness has acquired great importance in its therapeutic application for the management of anxiety, since its objective is to be able to conect us to our internal experiences of fear and anxiety with tolerance and acceptance, without avoiding them.

When we practice Mindfulness we pay conscious attention to our internal anxiety experience, without identifying with what we think of anxiety. In this way we come to have an understanding of our experience of anxiety that provides us with keys to fear and panic, without reacting, achieving a compassionate, tolerant and unavoidable self-regulation.

  • Observe and understand that in the identification and attachment to my beliefs, assumptions, judgments, prejudices and opinions lies the origin of my conflicts to be able to overcome them.
