  • Navigating the Crisis hand in hand with Art

Directed to:
The general public

Date:
Saturday, April 18

Hours:
5:30 pm to 7:00 pm

Location:
Online or Face-to-Face Zoom

Crises provoke strong emotions in us, and emotions cannot be ignored or saved. They must be spoken, written, cried over, painted, recognized and observed; so the only way to handle them is by accepting and processing them. And in this, art becomes our great ally; it helps us capture what we sometimes cannot say in words; or it sometimes helps us put into words what we sometimes do not know how to let out from within in any other way.

For Saturday, April 18, we have created a virtual space where part of our team of psychologists and six renowned guest artists from different areas (Pavel Nuñez, Rafael de Los Santos (@poteleche), Frank Ceara, Tatiana Fernández Geara, Frank Baez, and Josue Guerrero) will be sharing information with 80 participants from the general public on how to use the arts at home to help you process your emotions in this time of crisis.

Since we want you to participate, and not just be a spectator, we invite you to make your own artistic piece (song, poem, cartoon, painting, etc.) and we will be choosing two or three people at random to share that night.
